1. The short version
We use a small number of things that store information on your device. One group is required for the site to work at all. Everything else — analytics — is off until you turn it on, and you can change your mind at any time from the link in the footer of every page.
Saying no is one click, exactly like saying yes. If it ever isn’t, that’s a bug and we’d like to know: privacy@valera-padel.com.
2. What these actually are
“Cookies” is the familiar word, but the rules cover anything that stores information on your device or reads what’s already there — cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs, device fingerprinting. This notice covers all of it, whatever it’s called.
3. What we use
Strictly necessary — always on
These make the site work. Without them it breaks, so there’s no choice to offer and the law doesn’t require us to ask.
That third one is worth noticing: we have to store something in order to remember that you said no.
This table is a shape, not content. Every row must be a cookie the built site actually sets, taken from a scan of the finished site — real names, real durations. Do not publish a plausible table. Send Richard the scan output and he will complete it.
Analytics — off until you say yes
Tells us which pages people read and where they give up, so we can make the site less annoying. We look at patterns, not at you.
4. Changing your mind
Click Cookie settings in the footer of any page. Your choices apply immediately, and turning something off stops it — it doesn’t just hide it.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser. Some of the strictly necessary ones will break the site if you do, which is what makes them necessary.
We’ll ask again after [6–12 months], or sooner if we start doing something materially different. We won’t re-ask every visit to wear you down.
5. Global Privacy Control
We honour Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as declining everything that isn’t strictly necessary, and you won’t be asked again on that browser.
6. Your rights
Where these technologies involve personal information, the rights in our privacy notice apply — including access, deletion and objection.
